- Danny NellistJan, 31 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Had a voucher for 3 xxl pizzas for £30 tried to order online and kept crashing on me so phoned up and explained what was happening guy on the phone was nice enough but would not honour the online deal instead i had to pay £3 more to order on the phone. Got to payment and their card machine kept saying declined which i knew was wrong so he tried another machine still said the same so i said i would try online again he then said well I've put the order through and is being made now (cant see how that was my problem) so i ended up going to the store myself and paying (which went through straight away) . saw the delivery driver sitting there as he had been called in to deliver my pizzas while the order was being placed and he said to the guy on the counter "so you called me off my lunch for no reason at all then, as he is collecting now ") the guy on the counter then laughed and said "guess so". Felt sorry for the delivery driver. I then said to the guy as I've been inconvenienced any chance i can get a free bottle of coke especially as you wont honour the online price. I didn't expect a yes anyway and of course he said no. I felt pressured into buying the pizza over the phone and was not happy that you couldn't honour your online price when your website was playing up at the time. Don't think ill be ordering from papa Johns again will stick to Dominoes much better customer service.
